Olivier is a senior building acoustic consultant who has been based in Hong Kong for 10 years. He has an impressive education: In 2004 – Master of Mechanical Engineering (Acoustics & Vibration), Sherbrooke University Canada. In 2002 – Professional Studies in Acoustics & Vibration Engineering (Hons), Le Mans University, France In 2001 – DEUST VAS, Studies in Acoustics, Vibration and Signal Processing (Hons), Le Mans Uni, France. He also a Corporate Member of the Hong Kong Institute of Acoustics, a Member of the French Society of Acoustics and a Member of the French Documentation and Information Centre for Noise.
He is the owner and manager of mksA acoustic consultancy and has been involved as a project manager in several high-profile building acoustics projects delivered in Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and China. Olivier has a deep knowledge of local products, construction methods and way of working is a great asset in proposing an acoustic design that is locally feasible.
In addition to his expertise in building acoustics, his strong knowledge of acoustics and vibration metrology in particular has allowed him to deliver high level consultancy projects such as acoustics / vibration test and commissioning of trains / ships, vibration investigations of MVAC equipment in high-end buildings.
Some of his many projects include: Kowloon East Regional Head Quarter (Hong Kong), Shenzhen Radio Station, Island School Redevelopment (Mid- Levels, Hong Kong), Sao Paulo Escola Multipurpose hall in Macau, Renovation of Nathan Road Novotel, Hong Kong, Campus Expansion of Wanchai Campus of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, The Hong Kong Maritime Museum, Acoustics & Vibration Test and Commissioning of Shanghai Line 7/9 subway, and Starworld Galaxy (Macau), Galaxy Macau, Kowloon Commercial Centre, Hopewell Centre, Pacific Place, Nanfung Centre.
